The MoMent App builds on the Experience Sampling Method (ESM)
ESM is a structured diary technique that uses applications that are available on the smartphone to provide service users with short in-the-moment questionnaires on their key problems, symptoms, mood and context as they occur at that specific moment in time.
MoMent uses a semi-randomised time schedule, for this your patients will be asked to complete momentary assessment 8 times per day for 7 days.
For more details about the MoMent assessment, please refere to Moment: Basic Configuration.
Why the MoMent tools could be useful in your clinical practice?
Keep track of your client’s symptoms, mood, context, sleep, and goal progression over an extended period of time in the clinic.
Increase your clients’s empowering. Self-monitoring combined with feedback in clinical sessions will help your clients gain a better understanding of their difficulties.
Discuss and share information around the treatment. You and your clients can make decisions on what it is important for them to work on, by setting their own goals in discussion with you.
